In this section you will find a manual for the maintenance and repair of the first generation Renault Clio passenger cars (Clio 1), which were produced from 1990 to 1998.
This online manual covers cars with petrol engines of 1.1 liters (1108 cm³, C1E), 1.2 liters (1149 cm³, D7F), 1.2 liters (1171 cm³, E7F), 1.4 liters (1390 cm³, E7J) and 1.8 liters (1764/1783/1794 cm³, F3P/F7P) with a carburetor, central or distributed fuel injection, with a transistor or electronic ignition system. Information is also available on repairing 1.9-liter (1870 cm³, F8Q/F9Q) diesel engines, with or without turbocharging, and with direct or indirect injection. All engines are in-line four-cylinder.
The transmission was either a four-speed (JB0 or JB4) or five-speed (JB1, JB3, or JB5); the automatic transmission was a four-speed (AD4) with a differential and final drive integrated into the crankcase.
