Removal



1. Disconnect the air intake ducts from the air cleaner housing.

2. Remove the three screws securing the air filter to the throttle body. Remove the air filter and discard the O-ring.

Installation



3. Install in reverse order, using a new O-ring.

4. Disconnect the high voltage wire from the distributor cap.

5. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hot air duct from the elbow pipe on the cylinder head. Also disconnect the outlet hose from the air cleaner housing (see illustrations).

6. Disconnect the temperature control vacuum hose from the valve on the intake housing.

7. Remove the two bolts securing the air filter to the battery platform (see illustration).

8. Lift the air cleaner assembly, separating the cold air duct from its base (see illustration).

9. If it is necessary to remove the cold air duct, remove the mudguard from the front wheel arch. Then separate the air duct tip (see illustration).

10. Install in reverse order.
