The fuel pump is electric and located inside the fuel tank. When the pump is running, fuel circulates continuously, and excess fuel returns to the tank.
The exhaust system is conventional and includes a catalytic converter designed to reduce the amount of harmful impurities in the exhaust gas. The catalytic converter and other emission control components are described in Part E of this Section.
Warning: Many of the procedures in this Section require the removal of fuel lines and connections, which will usually result in some fuel leakage. Gasoline is extremely dangerous - exercise extreme caution when working around the fuel system.
