1. The following procedure simply reduces the pressure in the fuel system. Be aware that fuel still remains in the system components, so take precautions before disconnecting them.
2. Remove the fuel pump fuse, which is located in the additional fuse box under number 14.
3. Try to start the engine. It may work for a short time and then stall, or not start at all. Turn the starter on for another short time.
4. Turn off the ignition and reinstall the fuel pump fuse.
