Removal
1. The battery is located in the front left corner of the engine compartment.
2. Disconnect the wiring from the negative terminal by unscrewing the mounting nut and removing the clamp.
3. Disconnect the wiring from the positive terminal in the same way.
4. Loosen the bolt and remove the clamp, then lift the battery (see illustrations), holding it in an upright position.

3.4b....and remove the battery clamp.
Installation
5. Install in reverse order. Lubricate the terminals with Vaseline. Always connect the positive wire first, then the negative wire.
