Removal



1. Unscrew the mounting screws (one of the screws is in the center of the cover), and remove the air filter cover.

2. Remove the filter element from the filter housing.

3. Disconnect the intake manifold air hose from the air filter housing.

4. Disconnect the air hose at the base of the air cleaner housing and at the front left corner of the engine compartment.

5. Loosen the mounting nuts and remove the air filter housing from the bracket in the engine compartment. If necessary, unscrew the air inlet duct from the front crossmember and also unscrew the bracket.

6. Check the condition of the rubber cushions and replace them if necessary. Also check the condition of the hoses and clamps.

Installation



7. Install in reverse order.
