2. Unscrew the fastening bolts and remove the engine protective tray.
3. Remove the front wheels from the car.
4. Remove the front left fender liner.
5. Remove the front bumper.
6. Remove the battery.
7. Remove the air filter unit.
8. Loosen the nut (1) wiring channel on the engine.
9. Remove the wiring channel to the side.
10. Loosen the nuts (2) and remove the support.
11. Remove the anther of the gearshift mechanism.
12. To turn away a bolt of fastening of draft of the mechanism of switching
Note: The shift rod is installed with a spacer. Be careful not to lose it when loosening the bolt.
13.Remove the clutch cable (if equipped).
14. Loosen the bolt (4) wiring bracket.
15. Loosen the bolt (5) coolant pipe mounting bracket.
16. Disconnect the breather pipe (6) from the gearbox.
17. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
18. Loosen the bolts (7) and remove the connecting pipe to the side.
19. Loosen the bolt (8) and remove the ground bar to the side.
20. Disconnect connector (9) from the reverse switch.
21. Unhook the reverse switch wiring from the holder (10) on the gearbox.
22. To turn away a bolt of the universal joint of a steering reducer.
23.Remove the power steering high and low pressure lines and seal the openings with suitable plugs.
24. Drain the gear oil from the gearbox.
25.Remove the right and left drive shafts (see chapter "Drive shafts and final drive").
26. Remove the lower engine tie rod.
27. Remove the front subframe from the vehicle.
28. Loosen the bolt (11) connecting pipe.
29. Remove the connecting pipe to the side.
30. Unhook the wire from the holder (12) gearboxes.
31. Remove the starter.
32. Install a traverse for hanging the engine with multiple adjustments and rigging (Mot. 1453), equipped with additional screw bracket (Mot. 1453-01) (14).
33. Remove the left engine mount.
34. Lower the engine using the screw bracket (Mot. 1453-01).
35. Remove the top bolts (15) manual transmission.
36. Unscrew the bottom fixing bolt (16) gearboxes.
37. Loosen the bolt (17) flywheel covers.
38. Remove the flywheel cover.
39. Place a garage jack under the gearbox.
40. Loosen the nuts (18) and use a jack to lower the gearbox.
41. Remove the clutch thrust bearing.
42. Remove the clutch release fork.
43. Remove the outer differential seal.
44.If you plan to replace the gearbox with a new one, remove the reverse switch.
