Tightening torques:
- Gearbox support mounting nut - 15 Nm
- Fork tie rod mounting screw - 20 Nm
- Fork tie rod mounting bolt - 30 Nm
- Nut securing the lever to the rod - 30 Nm
- Terminal connection bolt - 20 Nm
Removal and installation
1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the gear shift boot.

3. Under the vehicle: Remove the exhaust downpipe (1) and heat shield (2).
4. Unscrew the nut securing the lever to the shift rod.
5. Unscrew the four nuts of the lever support.

6. Unscrew the bolt securing the rod to the gearbox fork.

7. Remove the shift rod.
8. Installation is carried out in reverse order. Lubricate the hinge joints with grease 33 Medium.
Adjustment
Special tool:
- 1st gear lock - B.VI.1133
1. Remove the engine protection.

2. Loosen bolt (V).
3. Install the B.Vi.1133 retainer and select the gap.
4. Pull the latch down and rotate it approximately 45 degrees until it touches the protrusion in the housing.


5. Press the lower part of the rod near the gearbox ramp and install a 9 mm thick spacer between them.

6. Tighten the bolt (V).
7. Measure the gap (Y) between the lever body and the lever. The gap should be 7-10 mm.

8. Remove the retainer B.Vi.1133.
9. Check the reliability of gear shifting.
