To adjust the gearbox control drive, the manufacturer provides special devices for fixing the drive elements in a certain position. Therefore, in case of violation of the adjustment, which does not allow the inclusion of a particular gear, contact the service.
To prevent violations of the adjustment of the drive, when performing work related to the separation of its elements, first mark the relative position of the parts in any way possible. When reassembling, install the drive elements in accordance with the marked marks.
If the drive adjustment is slightly disturbed and the gears, although with difficulty, are switched on, if the performer has some skills, you can try to restore the adjustment by trial.
Loosen the tightening bolt of the clamp securing the gearbox control drive rod to the gearbox lever and with small movements of the rod along the lever achieve a clear gear engagement. If 1st and 2nd gears are not clearly selected, turn the rod slightly counterclockwise relative to the lever (looking at the drive from the motor side). If the selection of 5th gear and reverse gear is not clear, turn the rod clockwise. If clearly selected, but poorly included (or not included at all) 1st, 3rd and 5th gears, move the linkage along the lever forward in the direction of vehicle travel without turning it relative to the lever. In case of unclear engagement of 2nd, 4th gears and reverse gear, move the rod back along the lever. After each movement of the rod along the lever, tighten the clamp coupling bolt and check the result of the adjustment. If necessary, repeat the adjustment until the desired result is obtained.
