Removal the differential (JR gearbox) (Renault Laguna 2)

To remove the sealing ring, tap the sealing cuff with a punch with a thin cylindrical end and a hammer. This is necessary to turn it.

Remove the sealing ring, being careful not to damage the splines of the planetary gear.



Secure the differential housing-gear assembly with the fixture (B.VI. 1057), attached to the crankcase.



Remove the housing mounting nut.



Remove the bearing pre-tensioning adjusting shim A.



Remove the entire assembly by pushing it towards the planetary gear.
