Installation
Parts that must be replaced:
- Front camshaft oil seal
- Exhaust camshaft toothed pulley fastening nuts
- Exhaust camshaft toothed pulley fastening nut
Attention!
- Do not scrape the mating surfaces of aluminum parts, as any damage to the mating surface may result in fuel leaks.
- To ensure a seal, the mating surfaces must be clean, dry and free of oil (don't touch them with your fingers).
Clean with surface cleaner:
- the seat of the oil seal of each camshaft,
- camshaft oil seal housings.
Note: Before installation, it is strictly forbidden to lubricate the seal with oil along the outer diameter.
Installing the camshaft oil seal
Note: Be sure to hold the camshaft oil seal with its protective sleeve (10) when handling it, as this type of seal is very fragile. It is strictly forbidden to touch the seal (11) with your hands to prevent oil leakage after installing the seal on the engine.

Install the safety sleeve with a new oil seal (13) on the intake and exhaust camshafts, being careful not to touch the oil seal with your hands.
Tighten the stud (12) of the device onto the intake and exhaust camshafts.
