Remove the cylinder head cover mounting bolts.
Remove the cylinder head cover by pulling it upwards and tapping the projections (1) with a bronze drift.

Remove the cylinder head cover.
Installation
Attention!
- Do not scrape the mating surfaces of aluminum parts, as any damage to the mating surface may result in fuel leaks.
- Avoid allowing the cleaning agent to come into contact with the paintwork.
- Clean the cylinder head thoroughly so that no particles get into the oil drain and supply channels.
- Failure to comply with this requirement may result in the oil passages becoming clogged, which will lead to rapid engine failure.
Note: The mating surfaces of the cylinder head cover must be clean, dry and free of oil (avoid touching them with your fingers).
Clean the mating surfaces of the cylinder head cover and cylinder head with a super-effective mating surface solvent to dissolve any adhering gasket residue.
Apply the composition to the surface to be cleaned.
Wait about fifteen minutes, then remove it with a wooden spatula.
Lubricate the camshaft bearings in the cylinder head with engine oil.
Applying too much sealant can cause it to be squeezed out when tightening the fastening of parts. A mixture of sealant and liquid can cause failure of some units and assemblies (engine, radiator, etc.).
Do not apply grease to the mating surface of the cylinder head cover.
Using a paint roller, apply plastic adhesive to the mating surface until it is completely covered with adhesive.

Use a piece of cloth to remove any plastic adhesive that has come into contact with the working surfaces (2) of the bearings in the cylinder head cover.

Install the cylinder head cover.
Tighten to the specified torque in the order shown:
- bolts 22, 23, 20 and 13 for fastening the cylinder head cover (8 Nm),
- bolts 1-12,14-19, 21-24 for fastening the cylinder head cover (15 Nm),
Loosen bolts 22, 23, 20,13 in the order shown.

Tighten bolts 22, 23, 20 and 13 of the cylinder head cover in the specified order to the required torque (15 Nm).
Install the engine lifting eye on the flywheel side.
Tighten the engine lifting eye on the flywheel side of the cylinder head cover to the specified torque (11 Nm).
Install:
- oil separator,
- ignition coils,
- camshaft seals,
- intake manifold,
- throttle body,
- air filter housing,
- timing belt,
- intake noise muffler,
- accessory drive belt,
- right front wheel.
Connect the battery.
