Remove the sealing ring, being careful not to damage the splines of the planetary gear.

To obtain support when working with the press, place a plate under the driven gear to release and remove the snap ring A, push it towards the clutch housing.

The differential is removed by pressing hard on the planetary gear.
Bearing replacement (from the gear side)
Insert the block into the housing and place it flat on the bearing.
Press out the bearing using a sleeve.

Installation
The bearing separator C is directed in the opposite direction from the driven gear.
Press the bearing in using the tool (B.Vi. 1059) with support on the outer ring of the bearing.

From the planetary gear side
Remove the snap ring A holding the bearing.
Press the bearing out using a 50mm diameter bushing into the crankcase.

Install the bearing using a 65mm bushing. The bearing separator should be facing away from the driven gear.

Install the snap ring to retain the bearing.
Reinstall the differential into the housing. Place a wooden block under the pinion.
Install the spring retaining ring B onto the head 1 of the tool (B.Vi.946), and then the head onto the planetary gear.
Place tool 2 (B.Vi.946) on the head and push firmly until the snap ring snaps into place. Remove tool (B.Vi.946).

Rotate the entire assembly and check if the speedometer pinion rotates (if it is installed).
