Repair the gearbox in a clean room and in a clean work area.

Clean the gearbox thoroughly before opening it.

When not in use, carefully cover the open gearbox to prevent foreign particles from entering.

Remove parts and handle them on a workbench with a shock-resistant coating (rubber or thick plastic).

Lubricate all rotating parts and synchronizer parts by immersion in the oil of the brand used.

Observe the tightening torques of threaded connections.

Take precautions when making adjustments.

Install the removed parts in the same order and position.

Before removal, mark the position of the synchronizer sleeves relative to the hubs.

During assembly, ensure that no dust or other contaminants enter the gearbox.

The seats for the seals and the devices for installing the seals must be absolutely clean, without traces of grease or damage.

Caution! Install only the correct type of bearings into the gearbox.
