Transmission oil change procedure
Draining oil from the gearbox
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Unscrew the fastening bolts and remove the engine protective tray.
3. Place a drip tray under the gearbox to collect liquids.
4. Using 8mm square nozzle (Mot. 1018) unscrew the stopper of the marvelous hole (1). Remove the seal from the plug.
5. Drain the oil into the prepared pan.
Filling gearbox oil
Caution: Be sure to replace the gearbox screw plug seal with a new one.
1. Install a new seal on the drain plug with a groove (2) towards the tube.
2. Install a screw plug with a new seal in the transmission drain hole and tighten to 25 Nm.
3. Remove fill plug (4).
4. Use a syringe to fill in gear oil (see above "Gear oil specification") into the gearbox until it starts to flow out of the filler hole.
5. Install filler plug.
6. Wipe off oil spills with a rag.
7. To remove the pallet for collecting liquids from under a transmission.
8. Install the engine protection tray.
