Installation
Attention:
- Do not scratch the aluminum contact surfaces, any damage to the contact surfaces may cause leaks.
- To ensure the required tightness, the gasket surfaces must be clean and free of grease (keep fingerprints away).
1. Clean the rocker cover gasket installation surface with fine-grit sandpaper.
2. Using a cleaning agent, degrease the contact surfaces of the cylinder head and the seal installation groove in the rocker cover if the cover is reused.
3. Apply a bead of silicone sealant to camshaft bearings #1 and #5 (1) and around the four rear rocker cover mounting holes (2).

Note: Excess sealant may be squeezed out when tightening threaded connections. Sealant in contact with coolant may cause damage to some components (engine, radiator, etc.).
4. Install the rocker arm cover with a new gasket.
5. Tighten the rocker arm cover mounting bolts in the sequence shown in the figure to a torque of 10 N·m.

6. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
