Removal the air filter unit
1. Disconnect the breather (3) from the air filter unit (1) and from the front panel (2)

2. Unhook the clamp (4) securing the air filter unit to the throttle valve.

3. Disconnect the oil vapor ventilation hose (5).
4. Disconnect the gearbox breather pipe (6).
Caution: When removing the air cleaner unit, pay attention to the brake pipe of the brake master cylinder. Be careful not to damage the brake pipe of the brake master cylinder.
5. Remove the air filter unit:
- Pry the air filter unit off the rocker cover (1).

- Press the air cleaner unit to the right to remove it from the throttle body (2).
Installing the air filter unit
1. Push the air cleaner unit to the left to connect it to the throttle body.

2. Lower the air cleaner assembly to connect it to the rocker cover.
3. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Replacing the air filter
1. Remove the air filter unit (see above).
2. Loosen the fastening bolts (1) of the air filter unit cover.

3. Clean the air filter housing.
4. Install the air filter in the reverse order of removal.
Caution: If the air filter is not installed correctly in the housing, filtered air may enter the engine, which may cause increased cylinder wear or engine failure.
