You will need a 10 mm socket head.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Unscrew the two nuts securing the ECU.

3. Pull out the lock in the direction shown by the arrow...

4. ...disconnect the wiring harness connector and remove the ECU.

5. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
