Removal
1. The electronic control unit is installed on the left side of the engine compartment (see illustration).

If you suspect that the unit is faulty, take the car to a specialized auto repair shop to have the system checked.
2. To remove the electronic control unit, disconnect the connectors, marking their positions. Unfasten the belt and remove the electronic unit from its bracket. Make sure that no foreign substances or dirt get into the unit connectors.
Installation
3. Install in reverse order. Before operating the vehicle, confirm the wide open throttle position for the electronic control unit using the appropriate Renault equipment.
