Note: A new O-ring will be required during installation.


Removal



1. Where necessary, remove the air cleaner housing assembly (see Section 4).

2. Disconnect the speedometer drive cable from the transmission by unscrewing the flange bushing.

3. Unscrew the mounting sleeve and remove the speedometer drive and its shaft from the transmission. Remove the O-ring.

Installation



4. Install in reverse order using a new O-ring.
