Removal



1. The multi-function switch is located on the rear of the transmission, above the left drive shaft (see illustration).

2. To remove the switch, first disconnect its wiring from the electronic control unit (on the left side of the engine compartment).

3. Loosen the mounting bolt and remove the clamping plate. Remove the ground wire bolt, then remove the shifter from the transmission.

Installation



4. Install in reverse order. Before operating the vehicle, confirm the wide open throttle position for the electronic control unit using the appropriate Renault equipment.
