Removal



Set the selector lever to the "N" position.

Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.

Remove:
  • air intake pipe;
  • battery;
  • shelf for battery;
  • Injection system ECU with bracket;
  • air filter housing;
  • wiring harness fastenings.

Disconnect:
  • multifunction switch drive cable ball end;
  • drive cable from the shell stopper on the modular connector bracket.

Remove the two bolts securing the multifunction switch lever.

Disconnect the modular connector by releasing its moving part.

Remove the three bolts securing the modular connector bracket.

Remove the two bolts securing the modular connector bracket.

Remove the green connector from the multi-function switch (12-pin) (fig. 3.162).

Installation



Set the multi-function switch to the neutral position "N".

Adjust the multi-function switch.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Tighten the selector lever nut to the specified torque (10 Nm).

Check the system's functionality and gear shifting.
