Adjusting the multi-function switch (Renault Megane 2)

With the gear selector in neutral, connect the two probes of the meter to the terminals to check the position.



Set the multimeter to "ohmmeter" mode (fig. 3.163).

Manually turn the multi-function switch until the switch closes (resistance at switch contacts 0 Ohm).

Tighten the multifunction switch mounting bolts to the specified torque (10 Nm).

Attention! After tightening the bolts, the electrical contact must be closed (0 Ohm).

Check the system's functionality and gear shifting.
