To remove the switch, disconnect the contact connector from it and unscrew it from the mounting bracket (Fig. 7.33).
To adjust the switch, mount it on the bracket and connect the tester in ohmmeter mode to the switch contacts. The ohmmeter should show infinity.
After moving the brake pedal down 5 mm, the ohmmeter should show zero. Achieve this by moving the switch. Secure the switch, connect the contact connector and check that the brake lights in the rear lights turn on.
