Removal
Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.
Remove the top engine covers.
Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals, starting with the negative terminal.
Remove the front bumper.

Disconnect the ECU connector and remove the intake noise muffler (fig. 3.164).

Unscrew the two nuts securing the ECU and remove the ECU (fig. 3.165).
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
