Removing spark plugs
1. Disconnect the high voltage wires from the spark plugs.
Attention: To disconnect high-voltage wires, it is forbidden to pull on the wires - pull only on the connectors.
2. Unscrew the spark plugs using the wrenches from the kit (Ele. 1382).
Installing spark plugs
1. Check and, if necessary, correct the gap in the electrodes of the spark plugs using a set of flat probes. Gap in spark plug electrodes:
- CHAMPION: 0.95±0.05 mm
- EYQUEM: 0.90±0.10 mm
- NGK: 0.90±0.10 mm
- SAGEM: 0.90±0.10 mm
2.Install the spark plugs using the wrenches from the kit (Ele. 1382) and tighten to 28 Nm.
3. Connect the high voltage wires to the spark plugs.
Note:
- When installing high voltage spark plugs, a bead of FLUORINATED must be applied
- GREASE (PART NO. 82 00 168 855) 2 mm in diameter along the inner edge of the cap.
