Removal the ignition coil



1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

2. Remove the air filter unit.

3. Disconnect the high-voltage wires from the spark plugs.

Caution: Do not pull on the wires to disconnect high-voltage wires - pull only on the connectors.


4. Disconnect the ignition coil connector (1).

5. Disconnect the oil vapor recirculation pipe (2).

6. Move the oil vapor recirculation pipe to the side.

7. Loosen the bolts (3) and remove the ignition coil.

Installing the ignition coil



1. Install the ignition coil.

2. Connect the high-voltage wires to the spark plugs.

Note: When installing spark plug wires, apply a bead of FLUORINATED GREASE (PART NO. 82 00 168 855) 2 mm in diameter along the inner edge of the cap.

3. Connect the ignition coil connector.

4. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
