Removal and installation of ignition coils of the K4M engine (1.6 l, 16 valves) (Renault Logan 2)

Removal ignition coils

1. Disconnect the connectors (1) from the ignition coils.



2. Loosen the bolts (2) and remove the ignition coils from the engine.

Installing ignition coils

Note:

• Be sure to replace the ignition coil mounting bolts with new ones after each removal.
• If necessary, replace the ignition coil seals with new ones.

1. Install the ignition coils.

2. Install and tighten the new ignition coil mounting bolts to 14 Nm.

3. Connect the ignition coil connectors.

Note: When installing high-voltage wires, apply a roller of FLUORINATED GREASE I PART NO. 82 00 168 855) with a diameter of 2 mm along the inner edge of the cap.
