Removing spark plugs
1. Loosen the bolts (1) air filter unit cover.
2. Remove the cover of the air filter unit with the air intake duct.
3. Disconnect high voltage wires (5) spark plugs.
Attention: To disconnect high-voltage wires, it is forbidden to pull on the wires - pull only on the connectors.
4. Remove the spark plugs with a 14mm spark plug wrench (Ele. 1382-01).
Installing spark plugs
1. Check and, if necessary, correct the gap in the electrodes of the spark plugs using a set of flat probes. Gap in spark plug electrodes (NGK): 0.65±0.05 mm.
2. Install the spark plugs and tighten with a torque wrench (Ele. 1933) and candle wrench (Ele. 1933) torque 23 Nm.
3. Connect the high voltage wires to the spark plugs.
Note:
- When installing high voltage spark plugs, a bead of FLUORINATED must be applied
- GREASE (PART NO. 82 00 168 855) with a diameter of 2 mm but on the throne edge of the cap.
4. Install the air filter unit.
