Description
The Spark Plug Ignition System is a system that allows you to increase the amount of available energy at the spark plug level by eliminating all intermediate links between the spark plug and the coil.
This system also eliminates all moving parts in the ignition system.
The power module is integrated in the injection computer. Thus, the same sensors are used in the ignition system as in the 8 injection system.
Ignition coils (four, according to the number of cylinders) are fixed directly on the candle with a screw on the cylinder head cover.
Ignition coils are powered in series in pairs (static twin ignition) via contacts C H2 and C NC of the injection computer:
- contact H2 for cylinders 1 and 4;
- contact C H3 for cylinders 2 and 3.
Removing the ignition coil
Disconnect the battery.
Disconnect the wire blocks from the ignition coils.
Attention! Do not damage the wire blocks 1. If this happens, replace them.
Remove screws 2. fixing coils.
Installation
The coil is installed in the reverse order of removal. Replace if necessary sealing rings of coils of ignition.
