Description
The Spark Plug Ignition System is a system that allows you to increase the amount of available energy at the spark plug level by eliminating all intermediate links between the spark plug and the coil.
This system also makes it possible to eliminate all moving elements in the ignition device.
The power module is integrated in the injection computer. Thus, the same sensors are used in the ignition system as in the injection system.
Ignition coils (sixth t, according to the number of cylinders) are fixed directly on the candle with a screw on the cylinder head cover.
Cylinder firing order: 1-6-3-5-2-4.
The ignition coils are powered sequentially one after the other through contacts A H2. And NZ. A H4, A G2, A G3 and A G4 injection computer:
- contact A H2 for the ignition coil of cylinder 1;
- contact A NC for the ignition coil of cylinder 3;
- contact A H4 for the ignition coil of cylinder 2;
- terminal A G2 for the ignition coil of cylinder 6;
- terminal A G3 for cylinder 5 ignition coil;
- terminal A G4 for cylinder 4 ignition coil.
Removing the ignition coil
Disconnect the battery.
To remove the ignition coils for the rear cylinders, the intake manifold must be removed.
Disconnect the wire blocks from the ignition coils, remove screws 2 fixing the coils.
Installation
The ignition coil is installed in the reverse order of removal. Replace coil o-rings if necessary.
