Refilling the hydraulic drive
- Make sure the clutch pedal is in the up position and, if necessary, support it with your hand. Fill the hydraulic drive with working fluid by attaching the hose of the device for filling and creating pressure to the tank, unscrew the valve to remove air (A, fig. 5.17), while holding the fitting with another wrench and allowing a small amount of liquid to flow out (approximately 0.5 l) through a transparent tube connected to the valve.

Close the valve to remove air.
Final removal of air from the hydraulic drive
Smoothly press the clutch pedal all the way and hold it in this position for about 10 seconds. When the pedal is pressed all the way, the assistant opens the valve for a short time to remove air (A).
After tightening the valve, the mechanic inside the car releases the clutch pedal and slowly raises it by hand to the top position. At this stage, it is normal that the pedal does not return to the up position on its own.
After waiting a few seconds, repeat the above operations until. until the liquid begins to flow out without bubbles. Then repeat these operations five more times. to ensure complete removal of air from the hydraulic drive
When the bleed operation is repeated, the actuator slave cylinder pushes out any air that may be between the bleed valve and the area «not washed» fluid flow when filling using a conventional injection system.
The slightest bubble in the clutch hydraulic drive can cause problems such as incomplete pedal lift, noise («crack») when changing gears, etc., which can lead to erroneous diagnosis and unreasonable replacement of clutch drive parts
