2. Mark the position of the pressure plate on the flywheel with a felt-tip pen or scriber (see arrow in illustration).

3. Lock the flywheel with a screwdriver, punch or special tool Mot 582 FACOM, fixing them on the flywheel ring gear (see illustration 2.2). Loosen the fixing bolts of the pressure plate sequentially one after another each time by one to one and a half turns until the fit of the disc is loosened and it will stand without tension.
Attention! If the bolts are completely unscrewed one by one, the diaphragm spring may be damaged.
4. Completely turn out fixing bolts.
5. Remove the pressure and driven discs.
Attention! When performing this operation, do not drop the discs, otherwise jerking and difficulty with clutch separation may occur after assembly.
6. Wipe the flywheel with a rag soaked in gasoline.
