2.15 Clean the gearbox input shaft splines and lubricate them with a thin layer of molybdenum grease, e.g. MOLYKOTE BR 2
Attention! Do not over-lubricate. Otherwise, its excess will be thrown out onto the rubbing surfaces of the clutch during engine operation. The amount of lubricant that is applied to the splines is comparable in volume to a grain of corn. Excess grease must be removed so that subsequently during operation there will be no malfunction of the clutch.
16. Insert a plastic mandrel to center the clutch into the hole on the end of the crankshaft. The centering mandrel is available from the dealer as a spare part. When purchasing a new clutch disc, a centering mandrel is included in the delivery.
The driven disk can also be centered on «peephole». However, it is recommended to use the HAZET universal mandrel with article number 2174 for this purpose (see illustration).
2.16 Insert a plastic mandrel to center the clutch into the hole on the end of the crankshaft
If the driven disk is not centered, the gearbox input shaft cannot be installed.
17. Fix a conducted disk on a flywheel. In this case, the enlarged part of the hub A on the driven disk must face the gearbox (see illustration 2.13).
18. Install pressure plate. When installing the old disk, follow the marks made during removal.
19. Screw in the pressure plate mounting bolts and alternately tighten them 1-1.5 turns until fully tightened. Then remove the centering mandrel.
Attention! Make sure that when tightening the bolts, the pressure plate is evenly attracted to the flywheel, and there are no burrs from the bolts between them. The tightening torque of the pressure plate mounting bolts is 20 Nm.
20. Remove the fixture that held the flywheel in place.
21. Lubricate the contact surface of the release bearing against the diaphragm spring, as well as the release bearing guide inside and out, with a thin layer of molybdenum grease, such as MOLYKOTE BR 2.
22. Install the gearbox, see the relevant chapter.
23. Check up functioning of an automatic regulator of a tension of a cable of coupling.
