Access to the bearing is possible with the gearbox removed.

To remove, move the fork away from the bearing and slide the bearing off the guide sleeve of the gearbox input shaft. Remember how the fork is installed on the bearing.

To remove the fork, detach the rubber boot and pull it off the pivot support.

Check the ease and quietness of the bearing rotation, replace it if you have any doubts about its suitability.



When installing, lubricate the fork pivot bearing, the bearing surface that rests against the diaphragm spring petals, and the bearing guide sleeve with molybdenum grease.

Make sure that the clutch release fork is correctly engaged with the protrusions A (see Figure 4.8) bearing races.
