Removing
- remove the air filter in the engine compartment;
In the engine compartment: release the cable from the clutch release fork.
Disconnecting the outer sheath of the cable from the bracket on the clutch housing:
- Disconnect the tip of the cable from the clutch release fork and release the cable sheath from the bracket on the clutch housing (Figure 4.9 and 4.10);

Attention! Do not lift the release fork as it may come out of the grooves in the release bearing (see Figure 4.8).

- remove the lower protective panel in the passenger compartment at the driver's feet. Dip the clutch pedal into the floor, then pull it up and disconnect the tip of the cable from the gear sector of the self-adjusting mechanism. If necessary, remove the clips from the sector with a screwdriver (Figure 4.11);
- remove the cable sheath from the stop in the motor shield;
- pull the cable completely out of the engine compartment;
- inspect the cable, make sure it is in good condition.
Installation
1. From the engine compartment, pass the cable into the passenger compartment.
2. Install the cable on the automatic disc wear compensation sector.
3. Attach the cable to the clutch release fork.
4. Install the plug.
5. Attach the cable to the clutch pedal.
6. Step on the pedal: the cable will adjust automatically.
- to ensure normal operation of the clutch, it is necessary that the cable connected to the clutch release fork is always taut and has a slack of at least 20 mm;

- make sure that the gear sector rotates on the axis, the latches return freely to their original position, and the clutch fork stroke (Figure 4.12) is in the range of 27–30 mm.
