Removal and installation the clutch cable (Renault Laguna 2)

Removal

In the engine compartment, disconnect the cable from the clutch release fork.



Press the pedal to retract the cable into the passenger compartment.

Remove the cable from the pedal socket by lifting the pedal and pulling the cable perpendicular to the pedal.

Push the cable housing stopper into the engine compartment.

Pull the entire cable out of the engine compartment.

Installation

Working in the engine compartment, feed the cable into the passenger compartment.

Insert the cable into the pedal socket.

Note: Make sure the cable is fully inserted into the pedal socket.

Connect the cable to the clutch release fork.

Press the clutch pedal and secure the cable sheath stopper to the front shield.
