Removal
1. In the engine compartment: release the cable from the clutch release fork.
2. In the salon:
- a) Disconnect the cable from the clutch pedal.
- b) Remove the amplifier (1).
- c) Unscrew the nut (2) of the pedal axle.
3. Remove the pedal.
Clutch pedal parts: 1 – stiffener; 2 – nut; 3 – cable adjustment mechanism
- after removing the pedal, unhook and remove the spring of the adjustment mechanism. Remember the location of all the parts of the mechanism so that you can assemble them correctly later;
- remove the bushings, take out the sector unit. Replace damaged parts.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal, and do the following:
- install the cable end into place in the toothed sector of the adjustment mechanism;
- in the engine compartment, attach the cable to the clutch release fork;
- to set the adjustment mechanism to the working position, press the clutch pedal several times.
