The clutch release bearing is integral with the clutch slave cylinder.
Removing
To remove the clutch release bearing and clutch slave cylinder, remove the brake fluid from the reservoir with a syringe.
Remove the gearbox.
Loosen two screws (1) attaching the clutch release bearing to the clutch housing.
Remove the clutch release bearing (2).
Installation
Always replace the clutch release bearing.
Note: To remove maximum air, the clutch release thrust bearing must be pre-filled with grease when installing.
Install a new clutch release bearing.
Torque tighten the clutch release bearing mounting bolts (21 Nm).
Attention!
- To prevent damage to the slave cylinder, do not apply grease to the gearbox input shaft.
- Never depress the clutch pedal with the slave cylinder removed.
Install the gearbox.
Bleed the air from the hydraulic clutch.
