Removal



1. Disconnect the clutch cable from the clutch release fork.

2. Press the clutch pedal and hold it in this position. This will cause the cable to be pulled out.

3. Disconnect the cable end from the S segment of the adjuster and from the A ring on the toothed cam (see illustration).

4. Use a screwdriver to release the cable sheath from the bottom mounting.

5. Pull the cable out of the engine compartment and remove it.

Installation



6. Guide the clutch cable into the passenger compartment, working from the engine compartment.

7. Secure the cable end to the toothed segment and place the cable in the cam groove.

8. Lubricate the toothed connection of the S segment and cam C with universal grease (see illustration 5.3).

9. Secure the other end of the cable to the clutch release fork.

10. Depress the clutch pedal. The cable tension will be adjusted automatically.
