Operating principle
The sensor on the steering wheel monitors the trajectory of the movement set by the driver.
Other sensors installed on the vehicle track the actual trajectory of its movement.
The system compares the trajectory set by the driver with the actual trajectory of the car and, if necessary, corrects the latter by acting on the brakes of individual wheels and / or changing the engine torque.
When the system is turned on, the control lamp starts flashing.
If this warning lamp comes on when the engine is started and the message «Traction control disabled», smoothly turn the steering wheel from side to side as far as it will go to initialize the system.
