This system ensures vehicle controllability in extreme conditions (avoiding a collision with an obstacle, skidding on a turn, etc.).

The system allows better control of the car during extreme driving and adapts it to an individual driving style.

However, this system does not replace the driver. It does not expand the capabilities of the car and should not encourage the driver to drive at higher speeds.

Even with this system, the driver must exercise caution and be attentive while driving (the driver must always remain prepared for any unexpected events that may arise while driving).

Operating principle

A sensor on the steering wheel monitors the trajectory of movement set by the driver.

Other sensors installed on the car monitor the actual trajectory of its movement.

The system compares the trajectory set by the driver with the actual trajectory of the vehicle and, if necessary, corrects the latter by acting on the brakes of individual wheels and/or changing the engine torque.

When the system is turned on, the indicator lamp starts flashing.

If this indicator light comes on when the engine is started and the message "Traction Control Disabled" appears, gently turn the steering wheel from side to side until it locks to initialize the system.

Cornering control

The system optimizes the operation of the ESP in the event of obvious skidding (front wheel loss of traction).
