Removing the rear shock absorber
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Partially remove the rear fender liner.
3. Posganin the car with wheels on the ground, unscrew the nut in the luggage compartment (1) and remove the rubber bushing (2).
4. Raise the car on a lift.
5. Place a jack under the rear axle beam near the shock absorber.
6. Remove the bottom bolt (5) and remove shock absorber.
Installing the rear shock absorber
Caution: Be sure to replace the lower bolt and upper nut of the rear shock absorber with a new one.
1. Install the shock absorber by placing its head in the appropriate socket.
2. Install the lower rear shock absorber bolt.
3. Lower the lift until the vehicle's wheels touch the ground.
4. Align the shock absorber head with the hole in the body.
5. Install the rubber bushing and tighten the new upper rear shock nut.
6. Tighten the shock absorber lower bolt to 105 Nm.
7. Tighten the shock absorber top nut to 14 Nm while holding the bolt head.
8. Further installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
9. In case of shock absorber replacement, repeat the replacement procedure on the other side of the vehicle.
