Rear shock absorber:
1 - spring;
2 - upper spring cup;
3 — front filter housing;
4 - nut;
5 - bolts;
6 — nut cover.
Place the car on a lift.
Remove:
- rear wheels;
- rear suspension fairing holders;
- rear suspension fairing mounting bolts;
- rear suspension fairing.
Remove the spare wheel niche (1). Remove the spare wheel niche (2).

Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolt (3) on the body.
Place a hydraulic jack under the lower spring cup of the suspension.
Loosen the shock absorber mounting nut (4) on the rear axle.
Move the shock absorber away from the rear axle.
Remove:
- hydraulic jack;
- shock absorber mounting bolt on the body;
- shock absorber spring.
The lower shock absorber mounting nut must be replaced. The upper shock absorber mounting bolt must be replaced. Install the shock absorber head on the body.
Tighten the upper shock absorber mounting bolt without tightening it. Place a hydraulic jack under the shock absorber spring cup. Using the hydraulic jack, adjust the dimension (X) to 432.5 mm.

Note: The vehicle must be "half loaded" when tightening the rubber bushings on the shock absorbers (shock absorber length 432.5 mm).
Tighten the shock absorber mounting nut to the specified torque of 105 Nm. Remove the hydraulic jack. Tighten the shock absorber mounting bolt to the specified torque of 62 Nm. Repeat these operations with the shock absorber installed on the other side of the car.
Rear suspension spring
Remove:
- rear Suspension Fairing Holders (1);
- rear suspension fairing mounting bolts (2);
- rear suspension fairing.
Remove:
- trunk mat;
- spare wheel niche.
Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolt (3) on the body.

Place a hydraulic jack under the lower cup of the suspension spring. Loosen the shock absorber mounting nut on the rear axle.
Move the shock absorber away from the rear axle.
Remove the hydraulic jack. Mark the position of the lower spring support on the rear axle beam. The mark should be located towards the rear of the car. Remove the left spring together with the lower cup.
If the upper spring cup has come loose from its seat, replace it.
The lower shock absorber mounting nut must be replaced.
Install:
- lower spring support;
- springs into the sockets.
