Unscrew the brake hose fittings (1).
Remove the mounting nut (2) of the ball joint of the rear body height sensor rod of the headlight range control (if installed).
Disconnect the wheel speed sensor connectors (3).
Remove the rear shock absorbers and rear suspension springs (see below). Loosen the silent block mounting bolts (4).
Secure the rear suspension beam to a hydraulic jack using a safety strap.
Remove:
- silent block mounting studs;
- rear suspension beam.
Remove:
- brake lines;
- wheel speed sensors;
- brake pipe clamps and wheel speed sensor wiring;
- brake pads;
- shoe guides;
- shoe guides;
- brake discs;
- steering knuckle holders.
Note: Silent block mounting bolts must be replaced.
When installing, tighten the silent block mounting bolts to the required torque of 125 Nm.
Tighten the brake pipe fittings to the specified torque of 13 Nm.
