Rear axle support silent blocks (Renault Fluence 1)

Make a mark (1) on the rear axle and align it with the color mark on the silent block.



Remove the silent blocks (2) using a hammer and puller (Tag. 1838) (3).



Install the silent blocks so that their color markings match the mark previously applied to the rear suspension.

Install the assembly of the special device for installing the silent blocks of the rear suspension (Tag. 1838):

• casing (4);
• threaded rod (5);
• washer (6);
• nut (7).

Tighten the rod (8) of the device until the casing contacts the rear axle.

Make sure the alignment marks remain aligned (9).

• Tighten the cover mounting nut to the specified torque of 16 Nm.

Remove the device (Tag. 1838).
