General description of rear axle overhaul (Renault Megane 1)
Rebuilding a rear axle is a complex task that requires the use of several special tools. Correct assembly of the axle components is essential, otherwise the vehicle's ground clearance will be compromised and/or the rear suspension's performance will be reduced. For these reasons, rebuilding the axle should be entrusted to a Renault workshop.
