Removing the front suspension strut
1. Place the vehicle on a two post lift.
2. Unlock the steering column.
3. Remove the front wheel from the appropriate side of the vehicle.
4. Mark the position of the cap with a marker (1) at the base of the shock absorber.
5. To turn away a bolt of fastening of a brake hose.
6. Remove the mounting bolts at the shock absorber base.
7. Remove the shock absorber base from the steering knuckle, using the steering knuckle as a support.
8. To turn away a nut of a cover of the shock-absorber.
9. Remove shock absorber cover.
10. Remove front suspension strut assembly.
11. Place the suspension spring compressor on the spring of the removed strut.
12. Having compressed the spring with a special tool, remove it from the shock absorber.
13. Using a special wrench, unscrew the shock absorber rod nut.
14. Remove the various suspension strut components.
15. Release the spring.
Front suspension strut installation
Note: When removing/installing the suspension springs, do not strike the spring, as this may damage their surface.
1. Insert the suspension spring compressor into the vise.
Note: When replacing the spring, for ease of installation, make sure that the spring is correctly positioned in relation to the tool seats.
2. Insert the spring into the seat seat.
3. Following the sequence, install all previously removed parts on the suspension strut.
4. Tighten the new damper rod nut.
5. Release the spring.
6. Remove the spring compressor.
7. To establish a forward rack of a suspension bracket on the car in sequence, return to removal.
8. Install the brake mechanism and front wheel on the car.
