Removal
1. Remove the door seal near the pillar trim.
2. Carefully release the trim from the upper clips A, then move the trim away from the pillar to release it from the clip B (see illustration).

Installation
3. First secure the lower end of the lining in the retainer B and then in the retainers 9 (see Illustration 26.2).
4. Replace the door seal.
B-pillar trim

Removal
5. Remove the door seal near the pillar trim.
6. Remove the cover from the upper seat belt mount and unscrew the belt bracket with a 17 mm wrench (see illustration).

7. Remove the button of the belt position adjuster 1 by prying it off with a flat screwdriver (see illustration 26.6).
8. Disconnect the upper part 1 of the pillar trim, and then remove it completely by pushing it upwards in the direction of arrow 2 (see illustration).

Installation
9. First insert the lower end of the overlay, and then fix its top.
10. Screw in the seat belt bracket. The tightening torque of the mounting bolt is 25 Nm.
11. Install the button on the controller.
12. Replace the door seal.
