Attention! To avoid sudden release of the spring, do not remove both bolts securing the lower ends of the shock absorbers at the same time.


Removal



Removal


Place the vehicle on a two-post lift.

Remove the wheels and spring cup covers A.

Place a hydraulic jack under the lower spring cup.

Place a hydraulic jack under the lower spring cup.


Remove:
  • shock absorber lower end mounting bolt B;
  • bolt securing the upper end of the shock absorber.

Perform the same operations with the other shock absorber.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Attention! The shock absorber mounting bolts must be tightened with the vehicle standing on its wheels. This will ensure normal operation of the silent blocks.


Note: If the vehicle is equipped with xenon lamps, they must be initialized.
