Attention! The removed bolts and nuts of the front suspension are not reused and must be replaced. Strictly observe the tightening torque of the threaded connections.
Removing
Place the car on a two post lift.
Disconnect the battery.
Remove:
- protection of the engine tray;
- lower bumper mounting bolts;
- wheels.
Lock the steering wheel with the special tool.
Remove:
- front mudguards;
- two left and right traction;
- bolts of brackets for fastening the brake pipeline and the ABS sensor;
- Xenon headlight corrector front body height sensor rod at point A, if any, disconnect the ABS sensors from the front suspension arm and from the subframe.
Remove:
- two aluminum spars,
- nuts for fastening pins of ball joints of racks of anti-roll bar, nuts for fastening pins of ball joints of tie rod ends.
Unscrew the two bolts of the subframe fastening rod on the body B.
Remove the nuts of the suspension arm mounting bolts.
Install the clamps on the steering hoses.
Remove:
- a bolt of terminal connection of a plug of the cardan hinge of a steering shaft;
- fixing bolt of the pipeline of the hydraulic booster of a steering;
- jet thrust mounting bolts;
- noise reduction rod mounting bolts and subframe rear mounting bolts.
Place a hydraulic jack under the subframe.
Disconnect the brake lines and ABS sensor wires from the subframe and linkages.
Remove the two subframe mounting bolts on the body and remove the subframe.
After removing the subframe, disassemble it.
Installation
Assemble the new subframe.
Replace the subframe bolts and tighten them to the specified torque. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal.
Attention! When installing the bolt of the terminal connection of the universal joint of the steering shaft, it is necessary to adjust the steering column (see Steering).
Note. If xenon lamps are installed on the vehicle, they must be initialized.
